We’re in church

On Saturday, May 27, young listeners of Radio Marija will make a pilgrimage to Jasna Góra.
“I am in church” are words that refer to the pastoral theme that we are witnessing in a particular year. They are confirmation that I am and believe. “I” as St. John Paul II – This is something very specific. It’s not just a passive attitude, but a total commitment. […] The church is my home, my reality, the place where I really am. I am engaged in it, I defend it, it is something important for me – said Father Grzegorz Woś CSsR, organizer of the 24th youth trip with Radio Marija to Jasna Góra, which will take place on Saturday.
– This is a prayer meeting, a meeting with the Holy Mother – the Queen of Poland – said Father Grzegorz Woś CSsR.
For some, it is the only chance to go to Jasna Góra during the year.
– There are pilgrims from Węgrów, from Słupsk, from Szczecin, from Podlasie – from different parts of Poland. Some of them are very close to Czestochowa, and some are several hundred kilometers away. This is an opportunity to meet, the organizer of the 24th youth trip with Radio Marija to Jasna Góra indicated.
The prayer meeting is accompanied by the slogan: “I am in the church.”

The pilgrimage begins at 16.00. Young people will be able to take part in the concert and hear testimonials.
– This year, during the concert, “Wyrwani z Niewoli” and the band “Exodus 15” will perform, – noted Father Grzegorz Woś CSsR.
The highlight of the event will be the Divine Liturgy. in. At 6:30 pm, chaired by Fr. Bishop Jacek Kisinski of Wroclaw.
– After the liturgy – approx. 20.00 – We will start the so-called route from St. John Paul II. These will be the thoughts of the Polish pope, which he passed on to young people while in Poland, but not only. We will see and hear the Pope. These will be excerpts from speeches so that young people can see John Paul II. Most of them did not have such an opportunity, as indicated by the organizer of the 24th Youth Trip with Radio Marija to Jasna Góra.
The final highlight of this year’s pilgrimage season will be the call of Jasna Góra.
– This year, young people will come to Jasna Góra with many intentions. They will pray in a special way for peace in Ukraine and mark their calling and way. It is not only about the vocation to the priestly, religious and missionary life, but also about marriage. We also pray for holiness for all of us – said Father Grzegorz Woś CSsR.
