Tyson Fury invited Joshua to fight in September. Everyone wants it, including me.

World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Briton Tyson Fury offered compatriot Anthony Joshua a fight in September this year.

Fury promoter George Warren and Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn are in negotiations for a fight this week. They discussed the possibility of a fight last fall, but no agreement was reached.

“Gypsy King” revealed on Twitter that he challenged Joshua to a match:

“A few days ago I sent Anthony Joshua a preliminary contract to fight in September to invite him to Wembley. Everyone wants to see this fight, including me. Let’s give the world what it wants. I’m not going to make a million videos, I’m going to pressure you. The ball is on your side”

Fury wrote in the post.

At the end of last year, the two sides negotiated the organization of the fighting, but it ended in fiasco. It was also impossible to agree on a duel between Fury and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who fought his last fight with Joshua known as “Rage on the Red Sea” in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last August. “Wąsik” won the rematch against the British for the second time and retained the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO championship belts.

The “Gypsy King” last fought in December, defeating Britain’s Derek Chisora by technical knockout. Joshua defeated American Jermaine Franklin in April by unanimous decision.

Then the Fury team considered a fight with Andy Ruiz Jr., who demanded $ 20 million for the fight according to the British world champion, as well as a fight with the Chinese Zhang Zhili. But the latter became unavailable after Irishman Joe Joyce, who lost to China in February, activated the right to a rematch.

Joshua’s team, in addition to fighting Fury, is considering the possibility of a duel with American Dillian White on August 12 in Great Britain. Usyk’s title defense against Britain’s Daniel Dubois was initially planned in Wroclaw on the same day.
