Fatal accident on district road No. 368 in Smardzów (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). A car transporting animals collided with a passenger car in which five people were traveling. Two of them died and two children were taken to hospital in serious condition.
According to the officer on duty at the regional headquarters of the Wroclaw State Fire Service, an accident occurred on district road No. 368 near the village of Smardzów (Oleśnica poviat) – in the direction of S8.
Two cars were involved in the collision.

Two people were riding in an animal transport vehicle whose semi-trailer was empty. According to the firefighter, they got out of the car on their own.
The second car – Volkswagen Polo – was carrying five people. Only one escaped unscathed. Two people died instantly, and two children are in serious condition. They were taken to the hospital.
The road is blocked in both directions and emergency services are on the scene. Eight fire departments.
