UEFA imposed a fine of €150,000 on the Croatian Federation. Euro regarding the abhorrent behavior of the fans of this country during the recent June Nations League tournament in the Netherlands.
In addition, Croatian fans will not be able to purchase tickets for their team’s next UEFA European Championship qualifier on September 11 in Armenia. The temporary penalty of playing a home match in empty stands was suspended for two years for a trial period.

UEFA said its disciplinary committee linked incidents from Croatia’s two Nations League matches in the Netherlands – the semi-final victory over the hosts (4-2 after extra time) and the final loss to Spain (0-0, 4-5 on penalties).
The 70,000 euro fine included “discriminatory behaviour” by Croatian fans, while other fines related to throwing objects and setting off fireworks.
