In the final episode of “Kadru na kino” Ewelina Witenberg once again spoke about this year’s edition of the Cannes Film Festival. She said – in the past two weeks, the center of the world of cinema was in Cannes, where the famous international festival was held.
– Special performances, in addition to the main competition, are the main point of the festival program. This year, the Cote d’Azur presented titles that the entire world of cinema has been waiting for, – she added.
Among them was the new movie by Martin Scorsese. The audience applauded for nine minutes for the series “The Killers of the Moon Venus”. This Western crime film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro tells the story of mysterious murders among Native Americans in the early 1920s.
The premiere of the series “Idol”, directed by Sam Levinson, was held in Cannes, starring Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp, and singer Makonnen Tesfaye, known as “The Weeknd”. – I’m lucky to be here. I can do what I love, with the people I love and be surrounded by people I trust.
