The 27-year-old Srdjan Plavšić has already made himself known to the Raków fans. As a Slavia player, he played a year ago against Czestochowa in a play-off match of the Europa League Conference Qualifiers.
The Serbian midfielder was born on December 3, 1995 in Novi Sad. He is 166 cm tall. He started his career in the youth teams of Vojvodina Novi Sad, from there he moved to ČSK Čelarevo in 2012. He played 73 matches with the Belgrade national team, scoring 10 goals and making 17 assists. In 2017, he became a player of AC Sparta Prague, where he scored in 101 matches almost the same numbers as he scored in the previous club. After four seasons, Crdjan remained in Prague but moved to Slavia. In September 2022, he was loaned to Banik Ostrava. In 27 matches last season, he scored 5 goals and recorded 7 assists.
Plavšić also participated in the youth teams of the Serbian national team and two appearances in the Serbian first team in his footballing resume.
It’s no secret that we’ve been looking for a left winger for a long time. We hope that the acquisition of Srdjan will enhance our team’s strength and competition in this position. He has a lot of experience playing in European competitions, which is also important for us. Robert Graf, Sporting Director, said we believe his quality of football and his courage will give the fans a lot of joy and contribute to our goals.
The arrival of the Serbian player to the club from Czestochowa opens the way for Mateusz and Doviak to move to Zagloby Lubin. Details of his departure had already been agreed by both clubs.
