The intervening policemen were attacked by a man who rushed at them with a pitchfork in his hand. Fortunately, the 46-year-old did not harm the officers, but he did injure the police dog. The assailant faces up to 10 years in prison.

A few days ago, the officer on duty at the Powiat Police Headquarters in Przysucha (Mazowieckie County) was notified of a dispute between neighbours. According to the reporter’s account, his neighbor was throwing stones at him.

Nor did the presence of the policemen called to the scene calm the aggressive 46-year-old who lunged at them with pitchfork in hand. The man did not respond to orders and acted aggressively. One of the officers drew his handgun and fired warning shots into the air.

Attacked by a police dog. The police used a taser

This dampened the aggressiveness of the aggressor for a moment. When the situation appeared to be under control, the 46-year-old turned and fled into the nearby woods.

A police dog was brought to the scene. He tracked down the fleeing animal, but was wounded. At the same time, the policemen reached the spot and overpowered the man with the help of a taser.

He faces a long prison sentence

Although nothing serious happened to him, serious consequences awaited him. – The man heard four charges, including actual assault and insults against the officers.
