Days of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Białystok University of Technology. See what was happening at the university

The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences Days were held at the Bialystok University of Technology. There were meetings with employees, students, high school students and company representatives from all over Poland.

All this and more can be seen on May 23 and 24, 2023 during the days of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Białystok University of Technology. Up to 30 companies from all over Poland came to present their services and products, exchange experiences and contacts.
The aim of the meeting was to enhance cooperation at the level of science and business. There was a lot going on over the two days – from conferences and lectures to hands-on demonstrations and presentations to the scientific community.
We meet this year under the slogan “Knowledge and Practice”. During these two days we will be able to see the platforms of our scientific clubs as well as companies and partners. The presentations will be accompanied by presentations inside and outside the building, including demonstrations of large machinery and building products, agricultural companies, and companies dealing with transportation and geotechnical. Our partners will present their offer, and you will also be able to inquire about apprenticeships and internships. Dr. M. said. M. M. The event was opened by the training conference “Modern Technologies in Construction”. Challenges of the 21st Century, and was attended by, among others, representatives of the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers, the Polish Association of Building Engineers and Technicians, the Association of Polish Architects, as well as regional, municipal and local government authorities and companies operating in the regional and national construction market.
Participants attended lectures by representatives of the following companies: Unibep SA, Izodom 2000, Pfleiderer Polska, Peri Polska, Menard, Remea, Cemex SA. NIBE-BIAWAR also conducted heat pump training.
Later, it was possible to talk with students from scientific clubs operating in the college and with representatives of companies at their stands. The students had the opportunity to talk about the business profile of the companies and get to know potential employers. While the first day was dominated by theory, the second day was typically practical. High school students can visit PB Labs. Demonstrations of machines, services and products continued from the morning. An energy-saving house made of blocks, a demonstration of ecological board processing, the possibilities of a mini-crane, surveying reinforced concrete structures, a concrete pump or assembling wall formwork – all this was waiting for the participants outside the college. Activities and equipment demonstrated by: Izodom 2000, Pfleiderer Polska, Xella Polska (Ytong, Silka, Multipor), Diagnostyka Konstrukcji Stefan Giryn, Palisander, Cemex Polska, Menard, Remea, Cemex SA, Budimex SA, Danwood, Kontra – Maszyn Budowlane, Inspectorate Dojlidy forests.
