Children of a foster family near Wągrowiec were separated from their parents

12 children were separated from the house in a hollow from their parents – the court decided in Vogrovik. The case concerned the possible use of physical violence by guardians, and the Wągrowiec Public Prosecutor’s Office has clarified the circumstances.
On Wednesday, 12 children between the ages of 2 and 14 were admitted to Wągrowiec Hospital with signs of physical violence. The children lived with a family from Łęgów in Wągrowiec County. A 49-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man, who cared for their four children and eight children in a family orphanage, were arrested for using violence against their charges.
The presiding judge of the District Court of Wągrowiec, Judge Anna Filipiak, announced on Friday that the children were separated and properly cared for by a decision of the family court.
– For the duration of the ex officio proceedings for the change of parental authority and in relation to the foster family, the guarantee is given to place the children in institutional foster care. It will be a care and education facility, which will be referred to by a competent family support obituary center, or a foster family acting as a family emergency

Officers received the first indication of suspected violence against children on Wednesday from a kindergarten in Wągrowiec municipality. A kindergarten employee noticed traces of violence against the child on the body of a 4-year-old accused. The police officers informed the staff of the Social Welfare Center and the Ambulance Service.
A boy from the same family also attended the kindergarten group of a 4-year-old girl. Also suspected of violence being used against him, both of them were transferred, with the help of a social worker, to the children’s ward of the hospital in Vojrovec. It was found that the children had “clear signs of physical abuse on their bodies”. The police reported the case to the public prosecutor. I launched an investigation.
