Celine Dion cancels the tour. Including performances in Poland

Celine Dion has canceled her Courage World Tour. She wrote on social media that “constantly postponing concerts isn’t fair to you, but as much as it breaks my heart, we’d better cancel everything now until I’m really ready to get back on stage.” According to sources reported by CNN, the artist may not return to tour again. Among the canceled concerts are two shows in Poland – March 8, 2024 in Łódź and March 10, 2024 in Kraków.

“So sorry to disappoint all of you once again,” she wrote in a statement posted on social media. “I’m working hard to recover, but touring can be very difficult, even if I’m a hundred percent. It’s not fair that you keep rescheduling shows, but as much as it breaks my heart, I’d better cancel everything now so I’m really ready to get back on stage.” Celine Dion wrote.

The Canadian artist added that she wanted “all of you to know that I’m not giving up and I can’t wait to see you again.”

The canceled concerts cover the period from August 26, 2023, when she was supposed to perform in Amsterdam, to April 22, 2024 and a concert in London.

Celine Dion disease

Celine Dion revealed last December that she had been diagnosed with generalized sclerosis syndrome. – You know, I’m like an open book. I wasn’t ready to say it yet, but now I am. (…) I have been dealing with health problems for a long time and it was really difficult for me to face these challenges and talk about everything I was going through – said Dion in the recording, which she shared on her Instagram account.

“While we are still learning about this rare disease, we now know that it causes all the cramps I have,” Dion said. As she explains, the illness makes it difficult for her to walk and sing “the way I used to.” She added that the spasms affected every aspect of her daily life.

A person close to the artist told CNN on Friday that Dion “probably won’t be back on tour again.” – She’s in so much pain. The American radio source added that he undergoes physical therapy every day.
