A huge stream of water appeared in the midst of the storm
The spout was spotted off the coast of Florida on Friday. Although this is very common in the area, the unusual size of the whirlpool caught the attention of local residents. Weather alerts have been in place for several hours in the area.
The water basin was spotted off the coast of Ann Beach in the Florida Keys on Friday. The giant whirlpool appeared relatively far from Earth, and observers were drawn to its unusual dimensions. There were strong warnings in force in the area at that time storms.
Warnings at sea
As reported by the US National Weather Service (NWS), the violent corona was caused by an atmospheric front that had been hanging over Florida for several days. On Friday, the storms began moving northeast in Miami-Dade County. Flood alerts, gusty winds, hail and tornadoes have been issued for the region.
Anne’s Beach Aquarium wasn’t the only thing Florida residents saw this week. On Wednesday, a spiral water column formed near the neighboring town of Marathon, and the phenomenon appeared on Friday in Tierra Verde off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Waterspout alerts have also been issued for coastal Atlantic waters north of Miami.
